“ A little bagel shop in Hyde Park Village. It’s right next to Ro restaurant. There’s about 4 tables to eat at, otherwise we chose to eat at a table in the center of Hyde Park Village since it was a nice day out. No outdoor seating at Sesame. I ordered the Smookler bagel sandwich which is lox, cream cheese, marinated onions, and scallions. The bagel was soft and slightly doughy, which I enjoyed. The whole sandwich came out great. They have rainbow bagels, which I know my niece will enjoy and they have cream cheese options like “Cookie Monster”. Some unique ideas. I’ll be back! ”
“ Oh boy, where Do I start. Service Excellent. Drinks excellent. Atmosphere excellent. Honestly the only downside is it’s 3 hours from my house. Beyond epic. If you’re looking for a run of the mill drink look elsewhere, if you’re looking for an experience, you will be pleasantly surprised. This is our second time and it was equal to the first. I’m glad I spent my 40th birthday here! I’m willing to drive just for the experience. I wish I could give 6 stars. It’s beyond remarkable! ”
“ I recently visited Sesame in Hyde Park Village and I am in with them. This is the closest I can get to a real NY bagel sandwich without hopping a plane back home to NYC. My favorite so far has been the Reuben. I typically get my sandwiches on an egg bagel. The eggs were fluffy, the dressing tangy, and the pastrami was tasty and moist, not dried out like other pastrami sandwiches I have had at other shops in the area. I would say the pastrami was almost as good if not better than the pastrami I get from Carnegie Deli. The staff was friendly, personable, and prompt when I arrived. The few times I have gone to the shop it was during the week since I live close to Hyde Park Village. I have seen a lot of people try to go to the shop on the weekend and the shop has been mobbed with lines out the door and around the corner to get in. Just like any new restaurant they are having some growing pains and trying to get their kinks out, which is completely normal. With that being said I really think Sesame is a nice addition to the neighborhood and I look forward to many more tasty breakfasts from them in the future! ”

India was so awesome- she brought us out water, was super friendly, and kept an eye on our stuff outside on the tables while we were out running. Hot coffee and a flaky buttery croissant with warm hospitality- great spot to start the day!!!! ”
“ This was my first time trying Sesame in Hyde Park and man can I not wait to go back already. The staff is super friendly and stay productive, no one was standing around chatting or bored - love to see!). The place is super cute and very clean with a few tables inside and out. I ordered the Turkey Club but no swiss, sub chive cream cheese (1 up charge they didn't inform me of) and swapped the plain bagel for an asiago one (no up charge). Even though they charged me that extra dollar I still found it to be very affordable in comparison to other bagel sandwiches in the bay area. To be honest Einstein Bagels used to be my go to, but now I found my new turkey bagel home! ”
